The Buck Stops Here; although Buck describes it as an argument for abolishing the Commerce Department - whereas I think the argument would be more fitly described as an argument that abolition of Commerce is more complicated than might at first seem, despite its more obvious attractions). I certainly didn't realize that more than half its budget goes to NOAA; although I did know that the Census Bureau was a big part of its work.
