Written in the Sands

Terence Stamp narrating "The Tale of the Sands" from Idries Shah's Tales of the Dervishes:

Stamp is an example of something I've often thought. In a full acting role he sometimes comes across as a bit over-the-top, but it's exactly the same qualities that make him excel in storytelling mode, whereas an actor with more realistic rather than expressive presentation would certainly come across as wooden.
